So even though everyone probably gave him/her a great seed, it wont help the problem because the seeds he enters are not the seeds the game generates.

So unless the seed is not being explored enough to really see if it is the same as expected, giving him alternate seeds wont help. I had some frustrations getting the "seed" and "world" names confused when setting up a dedicated server and thought that might have been OP's problem, but if they are playing single player and not modifying the config file manually then the problem is different and maybe related to Xbox.

I'm not using Xbox so I'm not aware if there are any seed issues with that platform but pre-mistlands seeds produces different worlds post mistlands. Seeds listed prior to the update don't generate the same worlds post mistlands.

Not only that but there are some small variations even when you use the same seed.

I had a world once where I generated it and found a nice spot for a base but really messed up the terrain building it and instead of just undoing my changes and making it different I restarted using the same seed. The map had tiny differences from the previous world even though I had used the exact same seed.
