You can test the torches by checking your fps at your base and away from your base.

FPS away from my base seems to be an average of 70, sometimes 80, sometimes 50 again. Just in the dark forest. Let me try mountains.

FPS in mountains is 100-110, pretty good. With spikes as low as 95 to 200 FPS. But rare spikes? Mostly stable at 110 average. So something called Instances is 2500 in mountains with 9.5ms? but at my base instances is 5300 with 20.0ms

FPS in swamp is 55 FPS, with 17ms and 4400 instances. Pretty bad.

FPS in a cave is an average of 110 to 120. Also instances in mountain can reach 4000? whatever instances mean... but FPS still remains 100 in mountains, so probably this doesn't affect FPS.
