I tamed some Lox and made a saddle to ride them. It can't move through the Black Forest and gets caught on terrain a lot. Also the tamed lox die really easily to the mobs in the Plains. I watched as I rode the lox a deathsequto hit it and drop the lox to half health in one hit.

So I put on Fenris armour once more to scout in for the movement buff it gives. Lox are really good if you have a lot of ore to move from one location to another when on the same landmass, otherwise they are kind of pointless.
