Find stone tower. Mark it on the map. When troll attacks you , just run around that tower and shoot with the bow.
Torch is great to fight greydwarfs early on.
Stagbreaker is great in dungeons. Use it before opening any door.
Try to shoot skeleton with bow and use club in close combat. When skelly attacks you just move back and try to hit it with club again.
