Dig a moat and forget the stakes :/ As far as raiding every single day, not possible unless your stuff is bugged.

Edit: Unless you're talking about the monsters that spawn nearby naturally, in that case all you can really do is build workbenches in sneaky spots to keep enemies from spawning.

Or breed some wolves and send them out to fight.
