Agree about the swimming weapons usage discrepancy. Also, monsters that attack you don't use stamina which they should.

At the risk of being off-topic, I would like to ask, "How do you know that monsters that attack you don't use stamina?" Granted, a viking can see a creature's health bar in the user interface and judge their health but how do you know they don't have and use stamina?

Definitely not off topic.

Basically what Mharr said, but more specifically, I quickly jumped out of my karve, swam a bit ashore, ran to the ruined tower to register the location of The Elder boss, then manoeuvred my way back to the shore, swam to my karve, and then while accelerating against the wind with my sails down (one chevron), the swarm of greydwarves with a 1 star greybrute gleefully chased after me. Sorry for the long sentence. I know, bad form. ^_^

Anyway, they managed to swim quite far out while throwing their stones at my boat, damaging it down to about 80%-ish health before I was able to get away. In reverse, if I was in the same place as those monsters with all that swimming and punching I would have done, I think I would have drowned by then. Mind you, my skills weren't topped out. I think my swimming skill was about 10. Not sure how much it makes a difference. Basically, I didn't see any of them drowning or taking damage, other than from the arrows of my bow.

I am legitimately curious as to the 'tone' (as in hint) of your question. Have you experienced swimming monsters taking damage suddenly without any visible cause like being attacked?
