I think thats what the OP is commenting on, they have done EVERYTHING. There isn't anything really new to keep players motivated to keep playing.

With the build up of "Hearth & Home:" the update actually changed very little in relation to hearth and home. And effectivly zero new content beyond the Growths and tar pits. Nothing new in the Mistlands or Ashlands. They could have added 3-4 star Trolls to the Mistlands or super Stone Golems to the Far North just to give players something new to do until the next update, but the devs didn't. They tweaked the health/stamina balance of the foods, altered the foods making them require more attention than before, and reworked combat. That affected a lot of people, on both sides of the topic, but didn't add anything new that made the game worth playing while everyoen got used to teh new systems.

I know some people love the H&H update, some hate it, but the one thing that everyone seems to agree on is the update disappointed on the content front. I have yet to see a single comment of "Yay! the update didn't add any new content! \o/" or similar.

I've looked at the player stats for the game, the number of players has been in a slow decline the last few months. There has been an uptick since the H&H update but thats already starting to drop off again. Add to that the fact that the update will have caused some players who were already "meh" about the game to simply leave without a word.

The next update better come soon and add some real content or the game is going to continue losing it's player base simply due to boredom.

Thank you, You are very correct. This is EXACTLY what I mean. Valheim is probably my fav game out, but the problem is I literally can't do anything else. There is nothing else for me to do anymore.
