Seems like everyone misunderstood the point of the OP. He's not asking to see more from his boat, as in looking around. He wants to map coastline, and the amount of coast that's exposed from a boat is too small. Personally I don't care about the issue but almost everyone in answering things the OP didn't say. Am I wrong about that?
