You know you can make a copy of your Valheim folder and place this on a HD/SDD of your choice in a folder of your choice and play the game version of your choice from said folder (if you made copies that is), without steam updating said folder.

I actually already did this, but my pre-updated copy of the game doesn't load my world save due to the cloud save changes I guess. I don't know how to fix this either.
