this game would be extremly boring with static maps. theres no point starting new worlds with static maps. this game is designed to not hold your hand as well as make you explore the world. its also about discovery.

should the devs then also add info telling you theres troll caves, crypts, and burial chambers? should the game then tell you theres chest buried within a stone peramert outlined like a ship? no cuz that would make exploring and discovery pointless.

if you want static maps. just copy the seed name and keep using that seed over and over.

if the crow at the start simply told you about the trader. that's an attempt. shouldn't need to ask someone out of game for help. you could go the whole game without seeing the trader if you didn't know about it
