The Ward is completely useless for stopping a would-be thief / griefer... despite it's description, the ward only slows down the inevitable entry and theft, but in NO way prevents it. The ward basically causes weapons to do reduced damage, but doesn't STOP damage.

PVP is a different matter... pvp between 2 people cannot occur unless BOTH parties turn on pvp mode, so a griefer cannot simply show up and attack / kill another player directly.

Although a random can't attack another player, uninvited, there are other ways to grief, which could be far far worse such as random player summoning a pack of high level mobs to run rampant or worse yet, summoning high level mobs with zero hp which will crash a server instantly from the suddenly high amount of loot dropping all at once. BOTH of these are examples of real occurrences which people have reported in the past.

I STRONGLY caution against allowing unknown people on your server unless /until better admin controls become available (IF they ever do)
