Bryan, I relate to your desire to have new experiences in a game that I love. Please, remember these developers are highly intentional to create a quality game with a specific vision. Hiring a large team invites normative behaviors, aka generic and unoriginal capital market interests.

If you want a cheap thrill, Valheim probably ain't your bag. Think Bethesda. Why do Elder Scrolls games take 10 or more years to develop? Answer: because their team is focused on high quality. This strategy worked all the way from Morrowind to Skyrim. The shortcuts they took are most evident in oblivion, and the community still criticized the game, even though they pushed the deadline.

Fact is, some people just want something to complain about. I hope you are above that, amigo. We all live a long life, you have time, and I hope Valheim is more than just a distraction for people.

A system based on continuous growth is destined to collapse and fail. Valheim appears to be lasting just fine. Not to mention, it is only in the USA that we are idiots and think people need to work relentlessly to afford a subsistence. Let the devs enjoy their annual holiday! Wish them good journeys! Just like they return from Holiday, so have you, to the game.

Glad you're here! :steamhappy:
Just want to say, using Elder scrolls imho is not the best example of quality. Every time i've tried to play it, some sort of bugged happened, like my horse flying into the stratosphere or whatever else. And generally, ES is quite boring and linear overall, so tbf, Valheim outdoes it there.
