I've played the game all the way through and I don't think there is anything alarming for kids. But, it does make me think, I saw a person complaining about using stomach lining to make sausages. It's not graphic. I would just watch some gameplay on youtube to see what you think. You do have to kill a lot of things because you do get attacked. You will have to kill deer and boars for food, stuff like that.
