On the dedicated server I play on, another player's base halfway across the world started a "the ground is shaking" event that he ignored because he was working in another project elsewhere. He never went back there, and he quit playing Valheim.

That was six weeks ago. The ground is still shaking over there and meanwhile I haven't experienced an event since before it started.
