Mods
I don't mod my game but to make sure you get rid of them you should uninstall the game. Manually go to the folder and delete it to make sure no mods are left, An uninstall will not remove files the game did not put in.
Reinstall clean version of game.

Add back in mods if you want to but one at a time and verify function and compatibility of each before adding another.
