I like to build and hate raids. What I did was have a couple of seeds and use one for building but not kill any bosses past the first one. I killed the second boss on another seed and haven't gone after the other bosses yet.
By not killing bosses on my build seed, I only get the first raid levels and can ignore the meadow creatures attacking, or I pop out and stand in a clearing and kill them all as they attack me for the free wood and meat etc.
Having 2 seeds lets me cheeze the no ores thru portals rule that is not fun.
