I'm on-call for work this week. And that got me thinking: I could get paged suddenly while "on a mission" in-game with my friends (one of them hosts a server through g-portal). And I may have to suddenly log off while out in the wilderness at a rather-unsafe location.

So, what would I find if I were to log back on again in a couple of hours? A corpse / rezzed in my last good bed? Or would I just appear with all of the stuff I had been carrying, as if nothing had happened?

Figured I'd better get a good plan ready on how to deal with this right away.

Best case scenario? Nothing.

Worst case scenario? You die and leave a tombstone to recover items from later when you log back at your bed.
