Problem not solved, though. Raid trolls will go after your boars whether they are "inside" or not. Try it; build your barn, then spawn in a troll raid with console commands.

I use the 'barn' for my boars, roofed with some ladders for letting the sun (not needed) :P

Results in the event mobs just hanging around near the 'barn', trolls I poke and kite for the event, trick is not to kill the trolls quickly, just poke 'em down to low HP and kite them until event ends, I do use dodge rolls liberally and it helps to get used to using rolls for later stages.
