This echoes my thoughts exactly. The entire swamp experience has been beyond foul (it stays in theme i suppose) and has depleted my patience in record time.
One thing's for sure : when i'll make a new world, i'll use the dev console to reveal the whole map at the start and re-hide it just to check if it's worth investing time into it or just re-roll the rng dice.
