Being able to start on the same page as your homies always makes for a great experience though, and there is little to no reason to make a new character with your friends who have already played. It would be nice to have some reason to start over.

i don't see what a NG+ would add that you can't already do.
my undersatnding of "new game plus" is, take resident evil 4 for example, you go back to the start of a LINEAR game, but have all your weapons from the end of the first time around.

in valheim, there is no linear progression...
all the bosses can be fought again at any time.
you can take your viking with all their gear into a new world.
those sound near enough to NG+ to me.

what do you mean with NG+ in the context of valheim?
