This has nothing to do with a lack of skill or preperation, this is RNG just fing your over and setting you back hours. Please make changes to prevent this scenario.

Drakes die super easy with arrows. Where did you build your base? in the 939 hours played and about 50 hours of that between killing bonemass and moder and the same between moder and yagluth, I have never once experienced a drake attack on my base in the Meadows.

Drake raids can happen in meadows , you just got a bad RNG with that raid indeed
Oh and its like swamp attack , stops when kill moder
