No my fires are outdoor, looks like my roof over them is just too low. Will correct that on the next session.

Overall the game if good. I think it would be a lot better with friends to cut down on the resource gathering grind.

If the higher roof doesn't fix it, this can also happen during storms if the ground level of the fire isn't high enough above sea level. Meaning when a storm hits and the tide goes crazy, if you're near a coast, sometimes the underground "waves" can put out your fire.
