They should be fine, you just can't make more of them and probably can't restore a busted one if you get torn up in a raid. And they should pop back up next year.

I start new worlds all the time so I just won't see them for a while. I was just to the point of searching out swamps on my current playthough so I didn't have them yet... but I am going to start a new world/character for the update anyway.
