Fair point, so whats you solution?

Thinking about for a moment I wondered if we could have "Carved wood" IE using the base wood stuff but adding some of the fluting and engraving you see on Darkwood but without the dark staining. Costs same mats cost a shade more in stamina to put down (to reflect the carving) but has same durability and requires a level 2 work bench to produce to reflect the added stuff need to decorate it.

Would something like that fit in the idea you have? If so flesh it out and suggest away! It could have legs!
