Seems about normal to me. Certainly no instant respawning in areas just cleared typically.

Mining silver I will typically drop the golem in a hole so maybe that is attracting more attention or something?

Black forest mobs may be a bit increased, ran into my first area with two trolls next to each other... but it wasn't like one spawned in after killing the other or something.
