No, I don't like enemies being immune to my damage
No, I don't like being one-shotted by AOE ranged attacks that can be cast by a group of enemies
No, I don't like not being able to see stuff past 5-10 meters
No, I don't like having to stop every 15 seconds for my stamina to regenrate in order to move around
There should be a way to approach the game in diffirent ways, not do something extremely specific, and basically cheese your way through.
The cobat system as good as it is, doesn't support slopes and ledges. I found I had easier times in a dungeon, instead of the open world, since the dungeon floor is flat.
There should've been a bootleg version of magic, instead of it being locked behind the entirety of the Endgame
There should've been elemental weapons
No enemies in Mistlands are immune to your weapons. Even gjall are vulnerable to fire. Overall the mobs are more vulnerable to more damage types than in some of the previous biomes.
You can use your ears too. Regular seekers can be a bit sneaky, but they pose little danger on their own.
Maybe prepare better stamina food or pick your routes better. Exploring further inland from coastline should feature easier terrain. Stamina potions don't share cooldown with health potions, so feel free to use them. It's not like there are any other real uses for yellow mushrooms anyway.
Fighting at elevation certainly does not work "properly" most of the time, but some weapons and mobs do better than others. The seekers are at least as affected by elevations constraints as the players.
Magic is not locked behind the endgame, or at least I wouldn't say Mistlands is the endgame. There's two other vast biomes yet to be fully implemented. You need to jump through some hoops to access magic, but that's only a good thing IMO because it can be rather powerful, but complicated to manage effectively.
There already exists elemental weapons, before and after Mistlands.
i think mistlands will change a lot, this biome don't look ready yet , it have a more half baked update than a ready to go biome.
It's as ready and feature-complete as any other previous biome (look at the additions to swamp, mountains and plains). It sounds more like players were not ready for the biome rather than the biome not being ready for the game.
