Yeah this must be the case, just 5 minutes ago a seeker soldier SPAWNED RIGHT BEHIND ME in my base while i was building a wall, torches and workbenches everywhere, vertical crags everywhere that it wouldn't willingly drop from. So the little gaps that i figured the torches would cover between benches, is not working.
