Cooked meat is low tier food. Make the cooking pot and at least grow some carrots.

Raft is for shoreline use.

Karve is for transporting exploring around an island, maybe hopping across a channel to get to another island in sight. Avoid sailing at night or in a storm.

Longboat is for ocean trips, transporting to further islands.
