I started the seed that I posted above last night, and the start was easier than expected. The meadows is pretty small and surrounded by black forest and plains. At first I was concerned that I would not find enough flint, boar or even stones to make a good start, but that wasn't a problem at all.

I already put a troll to work to get me the mats for a bronze pickaxe, and he and a buddy even donated me their hide for a bit of armor. Now working on making some bronze gear.

Turns out Haldor and The Elder are neighbors, so I setup shop next to the Elder firepit. It looks like meadows and black forest are going to be easy, but I think I'm surrounded by plains, so it's going to be more difficult to get to swamp, and I don't know how much iron is going to be there.
