If you got silver armor and weapons you can also tank during the Bonemass buff whenever she lands. With the buff active she doesn't deal much damage. Keep in mind it will be a long fight. I did it together with a friend and we still went through the entire Bonemass buff.

I have never tried needle but have a stockpile of obsidian. I have upgraded silver armor, a silver sword, banded iron shield, crystal battleaxe and my draugr bow. Thats about it.

Obsidian is fine. Little less damage than Needle but much easier to farm. I think with your gear you are good to go.

Also before you go in to the Plains craft a Frostner. It knock backs Furlings and slows them. Amazing weapon. Only downside is you cant do your 3 hit combo because your third overhand hit will miss because of the knockback.
