you see, in the good old days, a game was finished (core) and everything coming later was some sort of expansion (finishing a game does not mean devs can't deliver more content). Legally though you had a finished product and you had to take 100% of responsibility of it in the wild market.
I asked this question because this game looks quite interesting and I'd like to give it a try, but I have yet to see a release date. Personally I've had some bad experience getting early access games where things get abandoned for whatever reason and then you can't even play them offline anymore.
When I see teams hiding behind early access (and all what it implies) for too long makes me hesitate... just out of experience.
