I dunno, every time they work on fishing, it's worse than before. Going to have to make a pen and fish that way when I feel the fishing urge. Fishing is totally forked now. Good thing it's not very useful after the plains, umm and it's not much use before then either. Sad times.

On the other hand, am overrun with tetra. 5 caves so far in my first two mtn ranges with them. RNG is a fickle godess.

I've found the only way for me to catch fish after the "fishing hat" update and it is baiting the fish close to the shore by slowly pulling the bait, after is bites pull before it starts thrashing and walk back until fish is out of the water
