The only thing shared in multiplayer is boss kill status. Recipes and such are tied to finding the materials yourself- Joining players don't just get handed all the recipes.

However, A joining player would get the recipes if they went to your base and picked up all of the materials inside; as the source of the material doesn't matter, only that the player has acquired the material.
