Try a clean install.
Make sure you don't have any mod managers running for the game.

either delete the Valheim folder and verify or uninstall and delete the Valheim folder and reinstall.

An uninstall will not remove corrupted or mod files, a manual deletion is needed.
Your saves are in another place away from the game install so they should be good.
Backup is never a bad idea.
