after scouting and marking the stuff i found i usually build a small store and process area near the current target (copper, iron and stuff)

i always have a larger settlement in the meadows where i keep growing my veggies and to store larger amounts of materials
from wich i draw when i build the next store and process base
also its easy to acces the spawn area for trophy placement or buff selection

in the process of storing stuff i have enough material to build the next bigger settlement in the planes

so yeah, having a meadows base is the way to go for me
and i enjoy commin' back to improve and upgrade my "First base"
