is the iron sledge still good endgame?
i really like the look of it and i think its bugged because using it takes not stamina to use
With high enough Club skill, yes, it's viable. I mostly use it to handle the "Hunted" event; you can one-shot Wolves in a large area, or at the very least knock them back, so they become a non-issue. Beyond that, if you have to go in to a Crypt or something for extra Iron, it works quite well at clearing out non-starred Draugr, Blobs, and the like.
I use it for that purpose, and also for clearing out Saplings in large amounts very quickly. It's also pretty good at taking down derelict structures made of wood that you find throughout the world.
When it comes to two-handed weaponry, though, the Crystal Battle Axe is the best. It has a unique third attack that stuns enemies. It is quite slow, though. (And it can also cut trees!)
As far as "end game" equipment:
1. Porcupine - absolutely devastating weapon. With Sneak, you can one-shot Trolls. (not that they're an issue at this point anyway; a couple swings after a Parry and they're done.)
Also works really well on Lox, and Fuling.
2. Frostner - Frostner offers the utility of slowing enemies struck with it, so it still has its uses even in the Plains.
3. Draugr Fang - best bow in the game currently, so with easy-to-make Needle Arrows it's quite devastating.
After that, I simply use a Black Metal Axe, Iron Pickaxe (since there's not a Black Metal variant for some unknown reason.. sigh), and the standard Hammer/Hoe.
