Depends on what you want.

If you only care about additional content to rush through, then you will probably be disappointed.

What IG did add is additional building pieces, the mobs and places where to get the material for these pieces, some short additional content in the mountains where you can farm a specific armor, a "troll" critter in the swamps where you can get another specific armor, several changes to how the food system works, lots of bug fixes and QoL changes.

I came in after Hearth and Home, so for me all of that was new at the time. The Ice Caves came after that, so I actually recreated my world with the same seed to get access to these. They are nice, but not like a complete new biome.

It really depends on you. If you like the game for what it is; a sandbox with lots of possibilities to build and explore, then you will like Valheim the way it is now, but then you probably would've continued playing.

If all you care about is new content to rush through... But I repeat myself. :)

See for yourself. That is the best advice I can give.
