My first play through I really liked the bronze atgeir, but lost favor with it for some reason. I'll have to give it another chance at some point.

How does the atgeir work against the fast attack of wolves?

Did they nerf wolves somewhere along the line? I remember they used do be in packs of two, three, sometimes even four, but I've been spending quite a bit of time lately in the mountains in iron gear, and have not encountered anything other than a single wolf at a time.
