i use troll gear and bow for most of swamp ,take out spawn pools from a distance and the place gets very quiet - axe for the abominations , a large shield can block them too - club for skeletons and club for bonemass, i collect bloodbags with a sword usually
dont chase the abominations when they run away , they are just trying to get other swamp denizens to join the fight , ive been mobbed a few times trying to chase them down.
after you get silver - it burns swamp creatures ....sizzle
