Deathquitos are a pain but very easy to defeat.
1. Don't run blind folded through the plains, always have an eye on the surrounding and an ear as they make noice
2. Have a shield, wait till they attack (they circle around you till they come straight to you and attack) and block their first attack and instantly one hit back. They are very weak and should be dead after your first hit. If not you are not ready for the plains.
With some practice you can skip the blocking and hit when they come straight at you too attack.
3. Always eat up to at least 100 HP before entering the plains.
4. If you can not survive at least one hit of a deathquito you are not ready for the plains.
5. Don't run away, in the first place don't aggro them but if they are on you, you need to fight or die... This is Valheim and not Barbies little farm 😁🤪
