Personally, I'm in love with the game, as is, so I've certainly got a biased opinion by way of that. I DO find myself eagerly Googling "Valheim news" while I'm at work and just sort of "daydreaming" that there'll magically be MORE Valheim when I'm free and at home again, but it makes sense to me that this is an effort from a small team and that they're putting quality work into the product, rather than rushing content out the door. There are plenty of more expensive Triple-A games out there, a lot of which are inferior to Valheim and less polished as "finished" products, to say nothing of the many that push out levels, skins, and other paid content, effectively turning the games into hobbies as expensive as restoring classic cars. I hate that this current one is a generation of gamers who don't remember buying non-updatable, offline, cartridge-based games, then trying to make the most of the ones that were disappointing or altogether "broken" experiences. If you enjoy the game, there are plenty of ways to squeeze it for more. Done everything already? Grab a minimal armload of stuff, or a 450-lb pile, or even a maxed-out "carrying too much" sh*t-ton, and hop over to a new seed and explore. Build something in a vastly different architectural style than your old fortress. Put down your favorite weapon and work on maxing out another skill and mapping out a new seed. Build a silo full of troll hide and Yagluth things. Hell; start a new character, altogether, with the acquired knowledge of how to approach the early game from less tedious angles. If none of that appeals to you, do the "follow" thing, as Eightball suggested above, and come back later. We're all entitled to our own opinions, but there's nothing to be won by expressing disappointment in the devs' speed of work. It's a documented part of that toxic fandom syndrome, feeling entitled to more of the things we enjoy and getting hostile about it when we don't get them quickly or at all. This feels like a game (not to mention a development team) that deserves a better community than that, IMHO. Sorry; I'll step down from the soapbox, now, and get back to stockpiling Fuling heads and feeding my battalion of guard-Lox.
