If I want to spend all day in my garden I can. If I want to fight monsters I can go to their place and fight them. Invasions should be an option. My wife and I have played this game a lot and with the increased amount and difficulty of invasions she is so frustrated by it she no longer wants to play. She like games that are slow and fun like Stardew Valley. This game is great but honestly forcing me to never kill a boss and not advance or kill the beauty of this game by building a stone prison just to keep my stuff safe is the biggest crime of any game; not fun.

Just download the mod to get rid of them. The developers are not going to change that.
