between getting a new sledge, and the fact that frostner and porcupine were already so good, its not too surprising that one handed clubs are "taking a biome off."

frostner is still the only weapon that does 3 damage types, unless you count ice or fire arrows on draugr fang (pierce, ice/fire/ poison). definitely the only melee weapon.

porcupine is still the only weapon that does both blunt and pierce (except maybe stagbreaker? which has some minimal pierce).

these weapons can still occupy useful niches, even though they will not be the top of the raw damage scale.

also, lower weapons have lower stamina costs.
