Yeah. sometimes I feel we are being trolled by the devs. There are other cases as well...like one food recipe that leaves me with 2 flour after i'm done.

At the very least they could have made it so the smelters hold 25, so that after loading two smelters you're not left with 10 coal you have to put back in your chest.

NOT TO MENTION... the fact that i have to click "E" 200 (thats two hundred) times, to load my 4 windmills up with barely.
