Invasions are such a badly made mechanic, because they can be avoided with the stupidest strategy: make a new world and don't place any boss trophies at spawn.

Trolls are much harder now since food has been reworked, but if you're not afraid to dodge every troll attack, they are actually easier... but fighting 2+ trolls? That's NEVER been a thing. I don't do that, that's dumb, at any level of the game.

Anyway next time you get invaded in your place, try sneaking until the invasion is over. They might do some damage, but they WILL leave afterwards if they don't see you.

It's what i've been doing and I don't regret a single moment. You want me to mod the game to make it easier? Well I don't have to. I made a new world and skipped all the bosses until my base is DONE.
