Let me correct that for you:
Port to other Platform = Profit.

Crossplay is not required for that. Especially not for a game like VH. At least not from the start while it's still in early access.
And publishing the port on XBOX/GamePass (which requires crossplay) while the map generation algorithm is not "synced"? How did that fall through quality control (at the outsourced party of course...)???

And I've just learned how borked crossplay actually is.
