Achievements can be used to teach players to do unique things in the game that most people don't even know about, and this game is not made for everyone. You can quite literally set any goal to any game, and enjoy it to any degree you want, and with that being said: Valheim could use achievements badly. I bet most players haven't even beaten the last boss yet and still complain about dying, there's a lot of room for improvement.

Odds are achievements will be released when the game releases, which is pretty much never.
