I hear ya OP. I'm a noob in the game so more for me to learn, but generally I'd prefer not having mobs break my builds. I hesitate to create anything complex for fear of it just getting trashed by some forced upon ai attack. Seems there are some things to really help on defense, so I'll be checking those out, but sure would be nice to be able to craft something by choice to remove that particular threat. Still having fun though.
