I take it this is a joke? Kinda like meet me on the 9th hole at midnight? I put a mushroom on my toolbar but there's no way to actually feed it to the boars.
You have to toss it out of your inventory, on the ground, in the enclosure with the animal.
They will still get aggressive while taming if you get too close, so I would suggest getting a stack of berries (yes, one whole stack) and tossing them in the pen to forget about the boar for while as it tames.
A couple in-game days later, check the berry situation to see how many they've eaten. When throwing in a stack, they will eat one unit at a time when they eat.. so stacks last a while.
As for Carrots, you will find Carrot Seed bushes in the Black Forest. Look for the white flowers. When you pick one up, it gives you 3 seeds, which you have to plant using the Cultivator.
Tip for farming: it sounds tedious but it's kinda fun. I highly suggest waiting until you have a massive hoard of whatever planted crop you need for food (Carrot, Turnips, etc.. there's more), and THEN start harvesting half for food and half for seed stock.
When you pick a grown Carrot, for example, the Cultivator gains another option to plant it as a "Seed Carrot", which will grow a plant like what you found in the Black Forest, giving you another 3 seeds.
Edit: so to reiterate about farming, what I would do is plant every seed you find for Carrots, and then turn all those Carrots in to "Seed Carrots" to build a massive supply of seeds, like 200+. Then, start harvesting them with the 50/50 (or other ratio) mindset so you have some for food, and more to sustain your stock of seeds.
Do note that planted crops, and seed crops I believe, will decay and disappear as well as be targeted by enemies. Keep your crops enclosed in something.. I suggest raised stone walls using the Hoe. Something mobs can't climb over. Farming gets important later, so losing your big crop is sometimes not an option. (Due to limited supplies in your nearest biome, for example.)
