If they did this correctly it could be a good idea. But right now the only thing that makes the bosses hard is just a huge hitpoint pool and the easy way would be to just do the same to high star creatures. If they figured out a better system I would be very excited.
The bosses in this game are by far my least favorite part of the game. Although I imagine I am in the minority with that opinion.
